Set Up Your First Compliance Program

Summary: Step-by-step guide to configure your organization and create a compliance program.

Audience: Compliance Owner (Admin)

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Organization and confirm your organization name, headquarters country, and time zone.
  2. Navigate to Regulations → Add Regulation. Search for relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA) or choose from the suggested list.
  3. Invite your team: Team & Permissions → Invite. Add emails and assign roles (Compliance Owner, IT Lead).
  4. Connect integrations (optional): Integrations → Connect. Choose provider (e.g., Google Workspace).
  5. Import assets: Assets → Import CSV or Integrations → AWS.
  6. Run a baseline scan: Dashboard → Run Compliance Check.
  7. Review your Compliance Health Score and follow recommended actions.

Tips:

  1. If unsure of your industry pack, choose “Not sure” and ComplyFlow will recommend.
